Tunis village Fayoum
Tunis Village is located in the Fayoum Oasis on Wadi El-Rayan Road. The village is located on a hill facing a large saltwater lake and overlooks a stunning view of the desert on the other side of the lake. The village of Tunis Al-Fayoum is considered one of the most beautiful places in Egypt. It is the most famous tourist destination in the city of Fayoum. It is also visited by a large number of tourists from outside and inside Egypt.
The village reaches the shores of the famous Lake Qarun and includes wonderful tree areas, in which many types of rare birds live. Whether you are looking for relaxation, art or history, you will find it all in Fayoum.
Wadi El Rayan
Wadi El-Rayan is one of the most famous parks and one of the most beautiful attractions in Egypt. When you visit this place you will fall in love with it, as you will find yourself in a vast desert filled with golden dunes and calm blue waters.
Wadi El-Rayan in the Fayoum Oasis extends over an area of 1,759 square kilometers and contains a lake of 113 square kilometers. The reserve consists of an upper and lower lake with the Fayoum waterfalls connecting them. Wadi El-Rayan waterfalls are the largest waterfalls in Egypt.
Fayoum magic lake
It is a wonderful lake located in the Valley of the Whales in Fayoum. It's named the magic lake because it changes its colors multiple times each day depending on the time of day and the amount of sunlight it receives.
It is a wonderful place surrounded by desert, so you can ski in the sand by Lake Magic, or you can swim or have fun sitting and watching the sunset. This lake contains minerals that help treat rheumatism patients.
Wadi El-Hitan
Wadi El-Hitan is home to 15 species of desert plants and about 15 species of land mammals including the North African jackal, the red fox, the Egyptian mongoose, the African wildcat, and the Dorcas gazelle.
The valley is located behind a mountain known as Garet Gohannam, (gara) means hill or mountain, and Garet Gohannam means mountain of hell. In the light of the sunset, the mountain appears ablaze with an eerie red light that paints a wonderful sight.
There is also a museum where it is located near Garet Gohannam northwest of Wadi El-Rayan. There are 406 primitive whale skeletons and a huge whale skeleton called the Lizard that was discovered in 2005.
