Tourism in Al Bahah Province

This dramatic landscape is located 24 km south of Al Bahah along Al-Aqaba Road. It has magic natural wilderness surrounded by palms, groves, banana, vegetables, and herbal plantations. Before reaching the Marble village, Al Baha valleys are famous for the banana plantations, you can feel the smell of village life with these bananas and guavas sellers.

The village was constructed of oil-based marble and pieces of rare marble. Therefore, it was called the Marble Village. This building added to the village the spirit of great art that denotes beautiful taste and longevity. The off-white marble hill and grayish-black stone structures provide a high contrasting image during the early morning (with rising sun) and evening (by the setting sun). Marble village is a symbol of creativity in Saudi Arabia, it is constructed by simple materials that are available in the area a small village has been beautifully constructed. Almost all Saudi Arabia provinces you visit have their own architectural characteristics in the very near past. That’s what makes Saudi Arabia very distinct!

Saudi Arabia is not a country of forests, although few forests are famous because of their climate and landscape. Raghadan forest park is characterized by its systematic elevation which will leave you awe-inspired the minute you see it. This park is very different from other parks in Saudi Arabia, the layout itself is very unique which makes you feel relaxed and comfortable when you walk, although the park is very small but it has very nice water features along with a few water/footbridges. As you walk up higher, the view is absolutely amazing as it allows you to see the entire region of Al Baha and beyond.

A place out of the world, it is the heart of the Al Baha region that surely will attract you, is located down the cliffs of the Al-Bahah city, Zee Al-Ayn has the ability to be enchanting, charming and delightful. The most striking is the white marble hill on which the village was built on, which contrasts with the dark shades of the luxurious Sarawat Mountains in the background. The most attractive thing that completes this magic place, that it provides water to a lush oasis surrounding the bottom of the hill, which is considered the cause of naming Zee Al-Ayn, because of the eyes of water that surrounded it. There is a local legend that tells of a man who lost his cane in one of the valleys, and to retrieve it he tracked it until he reached the village, where he enlisted the help of the inhabitants and retrieved his cane after digging up the spring. The village dates back about 400 years, and it witnessed the battles between the Ottoman Turks and its inhabitants.
