Hurghada is a city located in the Red Sea Governorate in Egypt. It is one of the main tourist centers in the country and is located on the coast of the Red Sea. Founded in the early 20th century, the town was until recently a small fishing village. But since the 1980s, it has been continuously expanded by Egyptian and foreign investors to become the leading coastal resort on the Red Sea.
