Overview
Shayib El Banat Mountain (Jebel Shayib) is the highest Mountain in the Red Sea Mountain Ranges, at 2,187 m above sea level. The trail is about 8 km long from the start of the hike “at 1,085 m above sea level” to the summit. It’s one of the most difficult mountains to ascend in Egypt because of the elevation gain and the steep scramble, rewarded with a magnificent view of the Red Sea. We hiked Jebel Shayib one year ago, and now you can join us on our second hike to Jebel Shayib, on the long weekend from October 21st to 23rd, 2021.
The total hiking distance is 16 km in one go. Our stay will include 2 camping nights followed by 1 night at The Three Corners Rihana Resort – El Gouna City.
