Monitoring the peak of the Perseid meteor shower in Wadi El-Hitan

Trip Objectives:

• Explanation of the constellations in the sky and how to connect the stars together to assemble a specific shape (according to the Greek conception)
• Learn some of the navigational characteristics of the stars, including how to determine the four directions, the sub-directions, and the direction of the qiblah also through the stars without the need for any modern equipment or devices and without the presence of the sun or the moon.
• Explanation of the basics of classification of constellations and the difference between ordinary and zodiac constellations (the constellations)
• Explanation of the mechanism of action of the sky and the zodiac circle (Ecliptic) and identifying the observation of a specific part of the sky and the concept of the planetarium
• We will also learn some of the basics of surviving in isolated deserts, and safety conditions if you enter a desert place, whether you are alone or with a group.
