Overview:

This tour package takes you through Kenya and Tanzania National Parks. The tour consists of eight days in Kenya (Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara and Amboseli) and five days in Tanzania (Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro, Manyara). This tour transfers from Masai Mara to Serengeti through Isebania Border.

DAY 1 : NAIROBI - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL

An early morning pick up then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, across the equator, southwards of Bogoria, lies the rift valleys most famous lake Nakuru. Known all over the world for its flamingoes, it's alkaline and is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the world. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lake shore. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at campsite, lodge or hotel.

DAY 2 : LAKE NAKURU - LAKE NAIVASHA

After full buffet breakfast in the camp then check out and drive to Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in the afternoon. After lunch in the hotel, you will proceed to Lake Naivasha which is the only fresh water lake in Great Rift Valley for an optional boat ride (cost not included).

DAY 3 : HELL’S GATE NATIONAL PARK

You'll be picked up from your hotel to Hell's Gate National Park. While Hell's Gate is known primarily for its landscape, there are equally a number of animals within the park to be spotted. Buffalo and antelopes are especially common sights, and the park is also home to a variety of birds. There are no predators or dangerous large game in the park. Your day tour includes bicycle rental, and you'll trade your safari vehicle for a bike to begin your journey through the park. Don't worry! Your car will drive behind you to ensure you've got a place to rest if you get too tired. Your first stop will be the spectacular Fisher's Tower, where the adventurous can choose to ascend the 45m tower. Equipment can be rented on the spot, and all climb's are guided by local professionals. From here, you've got a long but scenic ride to the famous Hell's Gate Gorge - where you can walk and climb your way through the distinctive terrain that helped inspire Disney's famous The Lion King.

DAY 4 : LAKE NAIVASHA - MASAI MARA

An early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, it holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara

hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive.

DAY 5 – 6 : MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE FULL DAY

After breakfast we have a full day dame drive, with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife and its one of the few places where it's possible to see the big five during a morning's game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sun birds.

DAY 7 : MASAI MARA – SERENGETI

On this day, you will be transferring from Masai Mara to Serengeti National park (through Isebania border). This transfer takes almost the whole day but during a great part of the journey (in the morning in Masai Mara and in the Afternoon in the Serengeti) you will be doing game

drive as well. Afternoon game drive en-route to tented camp.

DAY 8 : SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY

The famous Serengeti National Park, home of the Great Migration. The game drive is spectacular as you drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim. Continuing on, spreading out is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means "endless plains" in Kiswahili and this 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson's gazelles, large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax or monkeys also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds. On the second day, after breakfast, full day in Serengeti National Park (morning and afternoon game drives). Possibility to visit Oldupai Gorge and Balloon Flight.

DAY 9 : SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CRATER

Early morning safari before breakfast, to spot the animals when they are more active and also to have a fantastic sun rise in front of you. After the game drive, return to the camp for brunch, followed by a transfer to Ngorongoro. With walls 2,000ft high and a crater floor that spreads for

102 sq. miles, the crater is a virtual Noah's Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wild life in the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, from the top, looks like steam, full of flamingoes, a forest and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusk, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses.

DAY 10 : NGORONGORO CRATER - LAKE MANYARA

Very early in the morning, descend down to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing in one of the most incredible places on Earth. After a stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo lake, and more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, drive up the steep road out of the crater and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park for overnight. You can also visit Tara very early in the morning, descend down to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing in one of the most incredible places on Earth. After a stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo lake, and more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, drive up the steep road out of the crater and transfer to Manyara for overnight.

You can also visit Tarangire instead of Manyara and we recommend it from June to September. Possibility to visit Oldonyo Sambu Masai Village on the way to Manyara/Tarangire.

DAY 11 : LAKE MANYARA- AMBOSELI

Early morning game drive thereafter depart after breakfast and drive to Amboseli National Park which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro via Namanga border. You will arrive in the park in the late evening. Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli.

DAY 12 : AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

You will set out for an early morning game drive return back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, proceed with more game drive in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, and Hippo with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later return to your camp for dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli.

DAY 13 : AMBOSELI- NAIROBI

Early morning game drive in search of animals hunting, eating and killing then you come back to the lodge for full breakfast you take early breakfast then you check out of the lodge. After breakfast you leave for Nairobi with picnic lunch en-route to Nairobi. Arriving in Nairobi late in the evening and you will be dropped at a place of your choice.
