DAY 1 - ARRIVE ISTANBUL
On arrival in Istanbul (Ataturk Airport), you will be met and transferred to your hotel. At 1300 hrs in the afternoon enjoy Bosphorus Cruise. Visits to City Walls, Golden Horn and cable car to Pierre Loti Hill. Then, Bosphorus Cruise along the Bosphorus, the winding strait separating Europe & Asia. Bosphorus coastline is a delightful mixture of the past and the present where one can enjoy the grand splendour and quaint beauty of the ancient wooden mansions, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages. Rumeli Fortress (from the boat, no interior visit) and Leander’s Tower (from the boat, no interior visit). Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 2 - ISTANBUL
Today after breakfast, enjoy Half-Day morning sightseeing tour of Istanbul city. Visits to St.Sophia (closed on Mondays), Byzantine Hippodrome, in which stand the obelisk brought from Egypt by Theodosius and the Serpent Column taken from Delphi by Constantine.Blue Mosque, which has six minarets and a middle dome of 109 feet and Grand Covered Bazaar (closed on Sundays) dating back to 15th century. It covers over 4,000 shops under one roof. Afternoon free at leisure. If desired we can leave the clients at Bazaar, and they can return to their hotels on their own. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 3 - ISTANBUL - KAYSERI - CAPPADOCIA
This morning after breakfast, transfer to Istanbul (Ataturk) Airport for morning flight to Kayseri (Note: Your arrival flight should arrive into Kayseri by 0900 hrs). Upon arrival at Kayseri Airport meet with assist and drive to Cappadocia.Arrival visit to Red Valley which is one of the most beautiful trekking valleys in Cappadocia. Explore the famous rock-cut churches and hiking for 5 km through the valley.After hiking, resting in Old Cavusin Village where is one of the old Greek Villages in Cappadocia. The village is known with its houses and churches of the Christian clergymen. After lunch at local restaurant visit to Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors.Finally, a visit to Pigeon Valley. Dinner and Overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 4 - CAPPADOCIA
Morning after breakfast, visits to Dervent Valley which has various types of fairy chimneys. Pasabaglari (Monk’s Valley) with some other types of fairy chimneys.Avanos Region,known with its pottery, a craft dating back to Hittite period. After lunch at local restaurant visits to Goreme Open-Air Museum, which is full of pink, rose and white tapering columns. These tall free standing cones of stone curve and twist as if pulled from earth like taffy. Others are tall like fairy chimneys. The caves were settled in the 4th century as monasteries. Visit some caves on the cliffs to see Byzantine frescoes decorating early Christian churches. Stop at Citadel of Uchisar and Esentepe for the beautiful view of Cappadocia. You will also have a chance to take photos in these places.Dinner and Overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 5 - CAPPADOCIA / KAYSERI - IZMIR / KUSADASI
Today morning after breakfast, transfer to Kayseri Airport to take a domestic flight to Izmir via Istanbul (Note: Flight should depart anytime between 07:00 am-22:00 hrs). Upon arrival at Izmir Airport, you will be met and transfer to the hotel in Kusadasi.Rest of the day free at leisure. Lunch excluded. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Kusadasi
DAY 6 - KUSADASI – EPHESUS – KUSADASI
This morning enjoy a full-day tour to Ephesus. The tour starting with Isa Bey Mosque, then drive to an ancient Greek city, later a major Roman city, on the west coast of Asia Minor which called Ephesus, stroll past the Celsius library, the Temple Of Hadrian and the Trajan Fountain in the Ancient Ephesus. After walking on the historical marble street the Great Theater where St.Paul preached will meet at the end. Local lunch will be served at a Turkish restaurant. In the afternoon we will visit the carpet cooperative to see how the Turkish carpets are made by hand. Proceed to shrine of Mother Mary (House of Virgin Mary),it is believed where she spent recent years of her life. Temple Of Artemis (Diana), on the side of one of the seven wonders of the ancient World. At the end, Leather Fashion show will be full of fun. After the tour transfer back to your hotel in Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Kusadasi.
DAY 7 - KUSADASI - PAMUKKALE - KUSADASI
This morning after breakfast, drive to Pamukkale that has the meaning of the “Cotton Fortress” in English. Once known as Hierapolis, famous for healing thermal/mineral Baths and beautiful snow-white “petrified waterfalls”. After local lunch visit Hierapolis Ancient Site, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the Main Street and Gates, the Thermal Baths, the devil’s hole, and Masterpiece Theater. Pamukkale terraces are made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water from the hot springs. In this area, there are 17 hot water springs in which the temperature ranges from 35°C to 100°C The water that emerges from the spring is transported 320 meters (1,050 ft.) to the head of the travertine terraces and deposits calcium carbonate on section 60 to 70 meters long covering an expanse of 240 meters to 300 meters. After the tour transfer back to the hotel in Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
