Al Rahma Mosque, also known as the Floating Mosque, was built at the edge of the Jeddah Corniche, along the coast of the red sea. The mosque is a must-visit attraction in Jeddah as it is most known for its impressive architecture it has a traditional Islamic style and unique location as it gives off the feeling of floating in the sea as it is surrounded by water and has a solid foundation and several columns above water. In addition to stained-glass windows which adds to the structure’s appeal. Al Rahma Mosque is a stopover for people on their pilgrimage to Hajj. The mosque's interior is equally impressive, with modern twists on classical Andalusian patterns and a pretty dome atop a stained-glass ring. It also has 52 outer domes other than the main dome.
The King Fahd famous fountain is located in King Fahd’s Garden, and it was donated to Jeddah by King Fahd and hence the name. This stunning fountain is considered to be the tallest fountain in the world with a height of 312 metres and is a Guinness Book of World Records holder. The fountain is visible throughout the vicinity of Jeddah and it is lit by 500 high-light LEDs. The fountain is considered a symbol of success, modernity, and abundance. The fountain is situated in the Red Sea and uses saltwater that is pumped from the sea to create the spray. The fountain can be seen from many parts of the city but it is specifically stunning when viewed from the Corniche, Jeddah's seaside promenade.
Fakieh Aquarium, a Caribbean-themed family entertainment centre, is the ultimate destination if you want to go out with your friends and family and spend an enjoyable time. This aquarium has a wide range of tanks and exhibits that will allow you to explore the underwater world from a different perspective. The aquarium has over 20 tanks with over 100 species of fish, and some of these fish are really rare such as the Pearl Grouper. You will get to explore this marvellous world by getting face-to-face with sharks, seeing giant clams open their shells and jellyfish. This centre is suitable for visitors from all ages and you can also purchase a wide selection of over 300 species from a live pet store.
The Nassif House Museum is one of the top destinations in Al Balad, Jeddah that you must visit to make the most of your visit! The museum dates back to the late 1800s and it was built for the then-governor, Sheikh Omar Effendi Nassif then it was converted into a private library with 16,000 books and now it is considered to be a major cultural centre in the city. The site of the museum has been the site of many significant and historical events in history. This museum served as the temporary royal residence of King Abdul-Aziz 1925, the founder of the modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The museum has 106 rooms, and offers visitors an insight into the rich past of the region, as it has a lot of exhibits for visitors to view and many vintage photographs. This museum has a distinct architecture and ancient appeal as it has Ottoman Turkish design, Carved wooden doors, and Arabic calligraphy.
